Medical Director

Dr. Kim grew up in southern California and received his undergraduate degrees there along with a degree in Oriental Medicine. After practicing acupuncture and eastern medicine for several years he decided to pursue a path in allopathic medicine. He began his medical school education at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, Mexico and finished at New York Medical College.

Dr. Kim did his residency in Family Medicine at UT Southwestern Family Medicine, here in Austin, which included working at Brackenridge, Dell Children’s Medical Center and Blackstock Family Health center. During his last year of residency he had the honor of being chosen to serve as Chief Resident. Upon completing residency he obtained board certification in Family Medicine. 

Dr. Kim is married to Vivian Hahm, an artist, fashion designer and wonderful mom to two children. Dr. Kim likes to spend his free time with his family, ride his mountain bike on the Greenbelt or swimming at his favorite swimming holes at Hamilton pool or Krause springs!
