Originally from South Carolina, Shakea began her nursing career in 2007 and moved to Central Texas in 2013. With a strong background in home health and leadership, she specializes in adult gerontology. She joined IMHC in 2020 and is passionate about accessible care and advocating for every patient. Outside work, she enjoys time with family and friends.
Hisako, a U.S. Army veteran and board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, has served Central Texas since 2014. She provides patient-centered care with a focus on prevention and managing chronic conditions. With experience in primary care and skilled nursing, she’s also a passionate traveler and mom of three. She holds degrees from Central Texas College and WGU.
Leigh A. Balatgek, PA-C, is a physician assistant based in Round Rock, Texas, with expertise in treating sleep apnea, depression, and arthritis. Originally from Pennsylvania, she earned her Biology degree from the University of Pittsburgh and completed her PA training at Salus University. Passionate about integrative care, she values connection, balance, and lifestyle-based healing.
Emily Weissgarber is a certified family nurse practitioner with a focus on geriatric care. She earned her BSN from Stephen F. Austin and her MSN from UT Health Science Center in San Antonio. With a background in operating room nursing, Emily now provides compassionate in-home care. She enjoys outdoor adventures with her husband and two children.
Dr. Thomas Daniel, a native Texan, has over 55 years of experience in Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, and Emergency Medicine. A former lecturer and medical director, he now leads care at Integrative Medical Home Care. He enjoys astronomy, Texas Longhorns sports, and time with his wife, family, and dog, Portia.
Dr. Kim began his career in Oriental Medicine before pursuing allopathic medicine. He completed his MD at New York Medical College and residency at UT Southwestern, where he served as Chief Resident. Board-certified in Family Medicine, he enjoys biking, swimming, and time with his wife, Vivian, and their two children.

A provider is available via telephone for questions or concerns 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Once we have received your information, we will call you and set up your (or your loved one's) initial home medical visit. Having patient history prior to the first visit is helpful for the provider to plan and prepare treatment.
