Shakea is originally from South Carolina. She began her nursing career in 2007 and continued to advance in her career throughout the years with experience and education. She found her way to Central Texas in 2013 and has had various roles in nursing including nurse manager and director of nursing. Shakea has spent the past 5 years in home health. She loves home health because she can better serve her patients.Shakea has always been passionate about helping others. Even as a teen, she always knew that nursing was the career she wanted to be in. Shakea has a passion for the elderly population, which is why she specialized in adult gerontology nurse practitioner.When Shakea is not working, you can find her spending quality time with her family. She takes pride in her family and in the work that she does. Shakea wants to make a difference in EVERY life she encounters.
