Hisako has called Central Texas home since 2014 after serving overseas in the United States Army in Germany. She is passionate about providing quality care to a diverse population with a focus on health promotion and disease prevention.
She received her Associate’s degree at Central Texas College in Fort Hood, Texas and pursued her Master’s degree at Western Governor’s University in Austin, Texas. She did not stop there! She pursued her Post Masters Certificate in Family Nurse Practitioner at Herzing University in Madison, Wisconsin.
Prior to her Advanced Practice role, Hisako worked with geriatric population in the home health setting as a Registered Nurse Case Manager. She is also board certified in Pediatrics and provided care to chronic and terminally ill children in the home health setting. As a Medical Surgical Nurse she served as an Army Reservist to our troops. Hisako is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Texas Nurse Practitioners.
When not providing care to clients, Hisako enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons visiting zoos, local parks, and play houses. Hisako is also an avid traveler having visited five of the seven continents and over 30 countries.
